collegiate report

Saturday was amazing. I hung out with some friend who I haven't seen for a while. Today on campus they had a really great all day event called "Campus Chaos". It's kind of like a mini Warped Tour. They had a ton of bands, free food, free games, activities and shows. It was really hot, and the sun was brutal. I was sweating bullets by mid afternoon. Most of the day I just watched shows with my friend Liz, then around four we went to her house and I played groupie for her band. I helped them move their instruments and equipment to the stage and was a gogo dancer for their songs. It was really a great experience. I still can't believe I was brave enough to go on stage and dance in front of so many people. Later that night there was a really big concert with a bad called Blonde Redhead. The show wasn't that amazing but I still enjoyed dancing and hanging out with Liz and meeting a bunch of new people through her. After the show the school held a big dance party which only about 15 people attended but my friend Tyler and Liz's boyfriend Chris were DJing so we went and had a great time taking up the empty dancefloor and steeling all the left over and extra goodies the school provided. After that party we headed to a secret show at Liz's friend Aarons house near ODU. It was soooo crazy. I've never been to a show/dance party like it. The house was full of black lights, and we had glow sticks. The music was crazy techno and it was pretty crowded. We had a really great night. One that'll I'll remember forever.
