I was sitting bored in my room, thinking of something to do.... and I remember that I haven't updated this in ages.
First of all I realized that I know why I often sit with nothing to do. I have excellent time management skills. I do all of my work pretty much right after it's assigned. Unlike my friends who wait until the last second.
I'll start with something that I'm very excited about; my schedule for next semester. I'm very excited, I think it'll be both challenging and fun. The class I'm most excited about is Criminology. I like to read about crimes and criminals, and I think it'll cool to learn about the criminal mind. That class will satisfy one of my sociology credits. Then I plan on taking English Literature, so that I can officially declare my communications major. I'm also taking American History to full fill my last history credit. Then I am taking Film Appreciation, which is an introductory course to communications. (You get to watch movies all class. Yay!) And I'm also taking Fashion Product and Brand development to get another credit for my minor out of the way. Plus I think it'll be really informative as I continue to get my EBay business up and profiting. Those are the courses I plan on taking, I think it'll be an awesome load. (and none of them start before 11) :)
This weekend was boring for the most part. A lot of people went home for Easter Holiday so the campus was dead. Friday some friends and I went to the Beach. Unfortunately traffic was terrible and we didn't get there until around 4 when the sun started to drop and it got a little chilly. But luckily my good friend Caitlin was working and got us tickets to some fun things on the board walk. We did a mirror maze, a fun house, a haunted house and this tacky pirate ride. It was really fun, but I would've never paid for those attractions. Later Friday night was really slow. So we decided since the campus was so deserted that it was our best opportunity to climb the lion. It is a ritual at ODU, that to officaily be a Monarch that you must climb the lion before the end of Freshman year. So we did. Unfortunatly for us, they had just turned the fountain back on for the spring. So we got a little wet. But it was worth it. I only wish we had a better photographer. C'est la vie.
This whole week I've been to the gym EVERY day except Sunday. I woke up at 8:30 on Monday and Wednesday, just to go to the gym. I'm trying to make it a habit. So Saturday I woke myself up at 10 and went to the gym. (10 is EARLY for a Saturday) Then around noon I went to Phil's house and met his parents. They were really nice. They took us out to eat at this cute little deli where I got to practice my french skills by ordering a croissant. Then Saturday night we seriously did nothing. Went hung out and watched movies all night.
Since today is a family holiday I got the gang together and we went to brunch at iHop to celebrate Easter. I was the best and most complete meal I've eaten in a while.
So that was my weekend. I still haven't gotten the charger, and I'm convinced it's lost forever. If it doesn't come by Wednesday I'm going to have to buy another.
love ya!!
